Cordell Memorial Hospital is taking every precaution to ensure the safety of our patients, visitors, employees, physicians and communities. This includes doing our part in helping to stop the spread of COVID-19. Anything we can do to promote social distancing helps slow the potential spread of the virus and protects the most vulnerable in our communities. To promote the safety of our patients, employees and the community, we are temporarily suspending all patient visitors.
Effective Monday, April 6 at 7 am, we are temporarily suspending all patient visitors in our hospital. This will include closing all lobby and waiting areas. Some exceptions may be made for the following circumstances for visitors 18 years and older:
- Pediatric Patients – one visitor
- Compassionate care exceptions for emergency and end-of-life critical situations or when a visitor is essential for the patient’s emotional well-being, such as dementia.
- All visitor exceptions must be coordinated and approved by the leader on duty.
